We welcome challenging projects and specialize in renovations that require a high degree of craftsmanship and skill. Our services include:

  • Single room upgrades and renovations, with kitchens and washrooms being the most popular choices for many homeowners;
  • Additions to increase the space in the home;
  • Complete interior rebuilds, especially to upgrade older heritage homes to modern standards;
  • Commercial tenant improvements, to enhance the presentation of your business to customers or clients;
  • Commercial renovations to increase space, add facilities, or improve the presentation of your business;
  • New construction, either single homes or business premises.

To ensure your project receives the attention it deserves, we limit the number of projects we will accept. We generally contract for no more than two or three projects at any one time. This allows us to exceed our clients' expectations on every project, giving more than our clients expect and leaving work sites cleaner than when we arrived.

We work directly with the property or business owner, so you are informed throughout the project. We handle all the construction work, including custom millwork when required, but sub-contract plumbing, electrical, and drywall installation to experts in those fields who have proven themselves on previous DRL Enterprises projects.

Project File: Heritage Home Renovation

To give the client a brand new home encased in a charming heritage shell, DRL Enterprises gutted the interior of this 95-year-old heritage home. The team drew on their millworking and carpentry skills to recreate the interior in a historic style with modern materials and methods.

First, the interior was gutted and wiring upgraded. Rooms were framed in. Heritage features like this stairway were reconstructed.
The entire inside of the house was gutted and modern wiring and plumbing installed. Interior walls were then framed, re-creating the living space within the home. Historic details were reconstructed, including this old-fashioned stair and banister.

 

Project File: Home rebuild with new roofline


DRL Enterprises renovated this 1200 square foot home, adding a new roofline and almost doubling the size of the house. The additions blend seamlessly into the reconstructed home.
